Service description
Clippy provides a web-based clipboard for sharing text and files via unique URLs. The service is ephemeral by design: content is intended to be temporary and may be deleted automatically.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Clippy to:
- Store or distribute illegal content, malware, or spam
- Harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others
- Attempt to bypass security controls or abuse rate limits
- Overload or disrupt the service infrastructure
We reserve the right to remove content and block access for violations, without prior notice.
No warranty
Clippy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, data persistence beyond your configured TTL, or that the service meets your specific requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clippy and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data shared via clips.
Your responsibility
Anyone with a clip URL can access its content unless you protect it with a PIN or end-to-end encryption. You are responsible for who you share links with and what you paste.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time. Clips expire and are deleted according to your settings and our cleanup policies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable local law. Disputes should be directed to security@example.com before formal proceedings.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
